Konnichiwa! Hola! Kumusta na? & Salutations!
August has came and went, just like that. I have to say I'll be missing it. The fallout from BronyCon still lingers as I'm still pulling bits out from my teeth every now and then. Even others across the internet are only now just resuming life after it to which I find startling. Usually after such an event, I'd find those so proactive as to be almost anarchistic in their fervor to complete projects & socialize, fueled by the jet streams left in the wake of BronyCon. I've been so attracted to the notion that it would almost drive me to the same.
But as always, I'm not such the type to do so but instead hibernate almost as many weeks as I've put into preparing for the event. And so, seeing others in the same state has given me some solace to that and a rather enjoyable contentment that I'm not alone.
But as life resumes back to normal, so unto the classes; By which, I'm sure most of you have already started. Mine draw a mere few days close despite my lack of preparation.
Thanks procrastination you're always there for me!
Eh I'm sure I'll be fine.
There's been alot of that this year hasn't there? I've still got my plate full with these crafty commissions I took at the beginning of this year. I say crafty not simply for the arts and crafts but also in the other definition of being cunning. This year, for one reason or another, they've always seem to escape my reach for completion. But I swear they'll be done before years end, once my fall resurgence comes as it tends to do. I'm staking alot on this coming fall and winter. Its been a very long number of months since I've put out anything of worth (for instance not a single photo involving ponies has been taken outdoors *collective gasp!*) and I hope to stop treading water and get back to a full swimming stroke again.
But I digress.
Now if you'll excuse me my procrastination just kicked in again as I just finished my whirlwind tour of 'MGS' as a franchise and need to delve into the final coda that is 'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain'. Which, knowing Kojima, will take about 1 overnight to finish and about 2 years to digest the thicket of story. Like it was some gummy peanut butter on the roof of your mouth. Maybe perhaps more like the swallowed gum that remains in your stomach. I couldn't decide which metaphor I liked better.
Happy Sculpting~

Well Sh*t
That didn't go well last year.
Shall we try again this year?

IF you don't know @WandererD let me be the first to say he's a worthwhile guy to know. He's a top writer and moderator on Fimfiction that wrote such excellent fics as XCOM: Ranger, Sparkle's No1 Assistant, The Empty Room, The Sweetie Chronicles, and (my personal fave) The Three Sisters series. Among so many more. He's excellent at getting so many people together and keeping them together by his kind, empathetic personality and generous wit. He's also the goofball who invited this idiot sculptor to the Brony Writer's dinner at Bronycon 2013 just so I'd have an excuse to go outside and make some friends. He's a fool. Cuz it worked. I've been invited back every year since. So when I ask you to help him out. Please understand you're helping someone whose helped so many out. He deserves to keep his home & have a stable life. So if you can help out, it would be much appreciated. Donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ga5dc-roof-and-home For more

What up y'all?
Some housekeeping:
Fuck Photobucket & their imposed bandwidth limits. Its gone and ruined the page I'd spent weeks creating (I'm not a programmer by nature, that ship sailed long ago). And with the Eclipse on the horizon, I'm not so sure I want to redo it. Tbh fam, I'd hate to leave it like this but idk how I'm gonna fix it.
Edit: I moved over to Imgur. I'd thought they deleted images after 6 months but apparently that no longer holds true as of a few years ago. Yay me
Lighter news, I have a new job! Started this past December.
Its a county gig, so I'm riding all around some dozen different towns now and srsly longer h
BronyCon 2019 - Going out on Top
BronyCon A time and a half. And about quadruple that since its closing. As I've read thru a ton of words dedicated to recapping BronyCon and I can't help but noticing through it all that most of them are a rambling mess and wondering why. Its because while Bronycon was a big event, it is always the small stuff we remember. Its always the names & the tiny little experiences that go with each person. Whether its a well timed joke or a proffered challenge that was met (or regrettably not). Because that's what BronyCon promoted: An environment to have a ton of little moments attached to faces of your ilk. The people at BronyCon don't call each other by their real names (well maybe a few) but by their 'internet handles' written on badges around their necks. Its both an anonymity and familiarity that provides ample room for shenanigans to happen. I love it and it should continue. Hopefully for many, many years to come. However, I won't deny that I had a good cry thinking about

I still haven't recovered from BronyCon either. My badge is still hanging in my car and I never finished unpacking my bags XD
