There's alot to be said about this piece. The ripples in the hair are wonderfully constructed. The curl in the band is also well done and the tail is just as rippley. Makes you wonder how long that section alone must have taken to form. There are few if any rough spots on her and over most of the large surfaced areas where rough spots would be most visible it's totally smooth. The horseshoes are symmetrical and are a very pretty silvery blue. The colors all match the canon Luna and the only real thing missing is the transparency in her hair which if the sculptor was able to fabricate that AND have the statuette hold its shape well then game over, we'd have a masterpiece. The eyes are very detailed and are perfectly circular. One other minor thing the sculptor could have done is made the base more elaborate, but the focus was meant to be on the figure so no point docked really. All in all this is an amazing piece and I am anxiously anticipating the arrival of the next batch of work from this artist.
For vision she scores high points for the wavy hair. Originality not so much seeing as it was just taking a character out of a screen and into the real world. But the sculptor makes up for it greatly but the technique executed with the wavy hair, which also provides a good rating in impact because of the accuracy of the general shape, especially in the eyes.
