Admittedly, that pose was well too amazing for me not to attempt. But balancing her entire weight on one leg? Highly NOT Recommended. The hassle alone was stress enough.

I loved how open-ended the commissioner left this. He simply asked for a Shadowbolt RD, so I went for what fancied me at the time. Though, he also wanted her to be wearing the goggles, which didn't fit too well around her neck so I left them on the base. :p Either case she turned out quite lovely and ready for action~

This is a beautiful piece of art work, seriously I'm blown away, but I'm also a little disappointed. The color of the uniform is not even close to what it should be, the Shadowbolts uniform is a deep-ish purple, not magenta. Also, the shape of the goggles is incorrect, the goggles are supposed to be shaped to look more angry and look like more like a lightning bolt instead of round. Overall it's a great piece of art, love the pose and technique, gives off a strong impact to the viewer, keep up the good work! Overall, its a 4 out of 5 :)

Thank you very much for your critque~ Its always interesting to hear what you guys see in my own sculptures!

I'm very aware of the color issue~ it looked much darker in real life but for some reason came out much brighter in the pictures~

As for the goggles, they definitely should be more of a half circle than full. They ended up being a bit of a last minute edition (as they were supposed to go around her neck) but I almost forgot ^^;

Another great piece! I seriously adore open-ended commission jobs (who wouldn't though, honestly?), and I have to say I think you made some really great decisions with how you chose to approach Rainbow here. The pose is great and the execution, with her flowing mane and tail especially came out very well! Kudos as always dear, I'm sure your client must have been very happy with this. :aww:
